Wednesday, December 6th there will be a Sophomore Cabinet meeting right after school in A127 (Mrs Derus’s room) to discuss Winter Formal. Please see Mr Nicholson or Mrs Derus with any questions. 

 

 

D&D club will meet Friday, Dec 8th after school in the ITC until 5 pm

 

 

“This weekend, the Speech and Debate team will be traveling to Columbus to compete in the Olentangy Liberty Classic. Wish them luck!”

The Wayne High Warriors entered the 2023-2024 school as the reigning high school blood drive champion in the Solvita Blood Center’s 18-county region and their quest for another year of lifesaving leadership got underway Nov. 29 with Wayne’s fall blood drive.

Last year Wayne led all high schools with 403 donors, followed by Miami Valley Career Technology Center with 382 donors and Fairmont High School with 349. The key for Wayne was sponsoring a third blood drive while MVCTC and Fairmont each hosted two. Wayne’s third and final blood drive on St. Patrick’s Day had 136 donors.

Senior Jonathan Stover qualified for Solvita Red Cord Honors by making his third blood donation. He consider it a calling.

“I really thought for my junior and senior years to try to do something for the community,” said Jonathan. “It’s a good feeling.”

Auditions for Freaky Friday, The Musical will be held December 11th, 12th, and 13th in the Wayne High School Performing Arts Center, Monday and Wednesday 4-6 PM and Tuesday 3-5 PM.

Have a 1 minute contemporary musical song prepared. Acting sides will be provided- no memorization required.

Don’t miss the discounted ticket price for this weekend’s comedy, The Play that Goes Wrong. All student tickets just $4 until Thursday. Tickets are $7 on December 1st and 2nd.

College Credit Plus Students

 

Fall semester ends on December 10th.  Any books or materials purchased by the district must be returned to Mrs. Gore in B113 as soon as possible to avoid having fees added to your account.  Additionally, Spring registration is going on now!  If you are taking a CCP class in the building, there is nothing you need to do, however, if you plan to take a class outside of Wayne, you will have to register for those classes through your mysinclair portal.  Please see Mrs. Gore if you have any questions.

DIPLOMAS

 

The list of names as they will appear on your diploma is in the counselor's hallway and outside the A1 office. Please check the list to make sure your name is on it and it is spelled correctly, including capitalization, accents, etc. Please see Mrs. Miller - B111 if you have any questions or corrections need to be made.

 

 School Fees

Over the next couple of weeks, Ms. McCullough will be sending out fee invoices.  They will be distributed in your first-period class. Seniors, you will receive yours on Monday. Please take time to look them over and take them home to your parents/guardians.  Remember if you owe...you won't go. Any questions, see Ms. McCullough in B131 (the red wall in the main office)

 

 

 

TRANSCRIPT

REQUESTS

 

~ To order a transcript for a college/university go to HuberHeightsCitySchools.org ~ quick links ~ student ~ transcript.  Create a Parchment.com account.  Search for Wayne High School, Huber Heights.  You must use a personal email, not your school email address.

 

~  Add your university/college(s) to your account.  Place an order to have your transcript sent.  Click on the blue + to order transcripts.

 

~  An email will be sent to the High School Admin Parchment account and all transcripts will be sent electronically.  You will receive a confirmation.  You will receive a confirmation number too.

~  Note:  1st semester ALL transcripts can be sent but 2nd semester transcripts cannot be sent if fees are owed.
