Freshman Orientation

Wayne High School Freshman Orientation – August 20

Hello, Ninth-Grade Students and Parents!

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Wayne High School! To help our newest students begin the school year with confidence, we will be hosting Freshman Orientation for students only on Thursday, August 20.

To help keep groups manageable, students have been assigned to one of two sessions based on their last name:

• Session 1: 9–11:30 a.m.
  Last Names A–L
• Session 2: 1–3:30 p.m.
  Last Names M–Z

If you are unable to attend your assigned session, you are welcome to attend the other session instead.

During orientation, students will:

• Receive their class schedules.
• Learn about important school policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Meet administrators, counselors, and other staff members.
• Tour the building and locate their classrooms.
• Gain valuable information and tips to help make the transition to high school a successful one.

Our goal is for every freshman to feel comfortable, informed, and excited as they begin their journey at Wayne High School. We look forward to seeing all of our new students on August 20!
